Basic Anodize Colors - Black, Blue, Violet, Red, Brown or Clear

We are pleased to offer anodizing for our spacers. This process is additional to the purchase of plain finish spacers.  You will need to purchase both the spacers and this process. 

This process currently adds 3 weeks to the delivery of your order.  If you've also ordered plain finish spacers in your order, then we can ship those today and then your anodized order in 3 weeks.

The 6061 Aluminum that most of our spacers are made of is the most resistant to oxidation of the readily available aluminum alloys, but it is still subject to oxidation and alkali build up over a long period of time, especially if it is exposed to salt and humidity.

Anodizing is a chemical process that provides great resistance to oxidation and alkali build up.  It also provides a very durable surface to the spacer.  This process changes the surface of the aluminum to Aluminum Oxide, among the hardest known substances on earth.  Keep in mind that this hardness is only .0002-.0003 deep, so the spacer is still aluminum alloy on the inside.  The process can turn a nice looking spacer into a beautiful spacer. 

It is available in 6 basic colors; Black, Blue, Violet, Red, Brown or Clear.  This process ranges from 18¢ each to 38¢ depending on the quantity ordered, with a minimum charge of $88.00 for 200 pieces.

If you wish us to get this process done for you, then make your purchase of that process here on this page along with the spacers you want anodized.  It takes about 15 business days to get the spacers processed and returned to us.

We do stock many sizes that are already black anodized.  We usually stock quantities of 250 to 1000 pieces.  Backorders take 3 weeks to ship.  Please see our selection of Black Anodized Spacers by mousing over the 'Black Anodized' tab in the navigation bar at the top of the page.

Returns - Please be aware that once these have been sent out for anodizing, you can not be refunded for that process in the event of a return.  Our return policy still stands, but only for the cost of the unprocessed spacers.
